With his skilled carpentry, he also created cabinets, fine custom furniture, and moldings with exquisite attention to appropriate architectural details. He terraced the outdoors to create space for an English garden with seating, cooking, and dining. He reconfigured an unnecessarily large master bedroom into one with walk-in closets, a vanity sink area, and large bathroom.
